Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he once was, and would definitely consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
